THE ROLLING STONES - Fort Worth, TX 1978

Okay, done with Rush for awhile and on to the Chick's first-ever Stones post. This is one of the very finest boots by Mick, Keith & Co. by any reckoning. It goes by various titles ("Cowgirl Barbecue" being my fave, and "Handsome Girls" ain't bad either); I believe much of it was broadcast on ye olde "King Biscuit Flower Hour". Not the nasty stage banter, however, all of which is included here.

Sound quality is A+ perfection, as good as all of their many, many official live albums, and better than most. If you're a Some Girls fan, dig in -- they do about three-quarters of the album, as well as "All Down the Line," one of my best-loved Exile tunes. Loose 'n' dirty, sleazy 'n' slutty...roll 'em!
