ALICE IN CHAINS - Seattle, WA 1992

I'm back! And all is well Stateside...well, not really, but hey. Happy Tax Day! We're still alive, and I'm gonna be a daddy in four months' time. So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Real busy at work here, catching up after being away for almost a month. Thanks for all the kind (and not-so-kind) comments during my absence. I even got my first DMCA warning from Blogger -- somebody out there likes me!

For something a little different, how about the best-ever AIC boot (one of the very few, actually, and by far the finest). It's a hometown gig, promoting their just-released masterpiece, the harrowing heroin diary Dirt, one of the greatest works of art about hopeless drug addiction ever created in any medium. The late Layne Staley's gritted-teeth intro to "Love, Hate, Love" says it best: "This is a song about pain."

Good times!
