ELVIS PRESLEY - Greensboro, NC 1972

I'm just rolling with my current '69-through-early-'70s live Elvis obsession, so I figure why not take y'all along for the ride?

This concert boot may be of even higher quality than the first one, since was it was originally recorded for the 1972 documentary Elvis on Tour, The King's last-ever film, a Golden Globe-winner no less, though it still remains unreleased on DVD. Here's hoping that long-lost doc undergoes the same loving restoration lavished upon its predecessor, 1970's riveting That's the Way It Is.

At any rate, this is a magnificent performance and a tremendously crisp, dynamic, CD-quality soundboard recording. Read all about it here and here, then download it...you know where!
